Accounting Administrator


  • Responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable clerical duties
  • Assists with accounts payable requirements including uploading invoices, entering vendor account information, verifying invoices for payment, and artifact management
  • Maintains document repository per Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and CAS standards
  • Assists with artifact gathering and reviewing for credit card reconciliation process
  • Provides time-card data review and accounting approval per Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance
  • Processes internal travel requests
  • Monitors and ordering office supplies
  • Works with insurance vendors to ensure maintenance of coverage and provides certificates as required
  • Set up and submits all information and documents in agreement with federal, state and local regulations -this includes state sales and use tax, modified business tax, etc. across multiple states
  • Identifies areas for improvement and recommend process improvements
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects, as needed by the operations team


  • 1-3 years of accounting/finance experience
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong self-starter and proactively motivated
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent organization skills

Preferred Requirements

  • Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Experience in a corporate setting
